HOW I MET A GLASTONBURY WATCHER

What would you do if you accidentally disturbed one of the Isle of Avalon’s most notorious Guardians?

You’d do as I did…make your apologies and then leave.

Encounter

The watchers of Glastonbury

The encounter started in a most unusual way

It was while performing an energy clearing ceremony in a shop at the bottom of Glastonbury High Street that I bumped an into my first Glastonbury Watcher. I felt the best option was to stay reverent, apologise and step away as quickly as possible!

The shrouded figure was staring at the Tribunal building

The Watcher I disturbed was observing the front door to the Tribunal building on the opposite side of Glastonbury High Street.

I was performing an energy cleanse in therapy rooms that overlooked the buildings and road at the bottom of the Street. I had casually walked into the first floor therapy room and immediately came to an abrupt halt when I recognised I was in the midst of a Guardian Spirit, standing motionless next to the large window.

“Don’t disturb me. I expect you to leave me alone!”

He was watching, observing, waiting for something to emerge from the door to the old Tribunal building on the other side of the road. He was aware that I had entered the room and that I had spotted him yet he did not move an inch or acknowledge me at all. He ignored me. Everything about this presence said “Don’t disturb me. I expect you to leave me alone!”. It was only when I attempted to make contact with him that he slowly turned his head toward me disapprovingly.

Should I make the Watcher leave or should I leave instead?

I could sense he expected to be left alone.  Apart from leave what should I do?  Should I perform an energy clearing on this Glastonbury Watcher or should I just leave him well alone. I chose the latter as I felt he was a guardian of the Isle of Avalon that should not be messed with.  I apologised to the Glastonbury Watcher incase I had disturbed him and left the space as quickly as I could!

Notes

anything else

The Watchers of Glastonbury are the spirits of Johannes Bryant (Glastonbury Abbey Stonemason) died 1533, Bishop Reginald of Wells (Reginaldus) died 1191 and Robert of Glaston died 1334. More Glastonbury Watchers may exist but are not necessarily named with these three (some say that they are a spiritual group as a collective consciousness). These Ghosts are only associated with Glastonbury and the Abbey. The Watchers of Glastonbury are a group of spirits that were channelled through automatic writing and then assisted Frederick Bond with architectural and archaeological investigations in the ruins.
